Blogging is dead to me

Full Article:

If most of you haven’t noticed, I almost never blog anymore. The question I’ve had for a while is do I leave this site up and do the ocassional article for my own entertainment, or do I integrate Twitter into my blog for real time syncing? Twitter is a constant, quick conversation for me – the blog may very well not fit that model. Ah, open for debate…

Keep it up! Give it a go, find your schedule (maybe it’s once a month). Perhaps some guest writers may want to contribute?

Answer day-to-day questions as a blog format (even if it’s only a paragraph).

    Just my 2 cents worth…

    hey Brady,
totally agree with your post. I think blogging and journalling is dying on the internet as things like twitter become more popular. There is some blogs like about health or software which will always be around but personal ones are not updated or deleted.

I have a livejournal account and got so bad with it. I hate having to think of a whole like big page of stuff to post. twitter is so brilliant for me. I use it a lot and only have to fill a text message size!

I love your personal site and why not leave your blog up. you might want to write something in the future or infrequently? that is what I am doing!

Twitter is the biggest thing at the moment but it wont last. in about a year something new will come along and it will be abandoned like all the rest! maybe a social networking online tool which works from your mind or something ;)

I’ve been hearing this sentiment lately, but mostly from people who have been blogging for a while and are getting more traffic from Twitter. I see the point in instant gratification from Twitter, but would miss the robust discussions that blog/comments allow.
Whoops, I think I might be over my 140 char limit here…

Eh, I have to admit I’ve been blogging for many of my work sites – so what I think more so is I just don’t have time to cultivate the blog like I used too for personal means. That being said, I do have something new coming up:)
