This seems like it may be more of a kitsch throwback to the 1987 original… I mean… surf parties!? Come on…
I do think that it could be a fun movie for people in our generation, those of us who grew up watching awesomely bad movies like Point Break etc– I know I’ll be seeing this in the theater, I’m essentially hooked just because I’m in a certain demographic, but I won’t be expecting much!

I’m always surprised to see old stars pining for these things as well, what was going through Feldman’s mind: financial concerns, fun of the job, a dare? You gotta know this is a joke – everyone knew it would be. The youngins at least assume this is a stepping stone to better deals, but how do you justify it when you’ve been in a handful of decent thrills?
